If you’re considering a trip to Valkrith, make sure to pack your long johns 🥶

Valkrith is an ice planet, and its very aptly-named monarch, Iclyn, has called the shots since time immemorial. The populace learned pretty early on that disagreeing with a mountain-sized bird-woman who can cover whole continents with raging blizzards usually doesn’t end well.

Iclyn, part of the Mage class, is what you get when Anivia from League of Legends [@ acct here] is reborn on the wrong side of the bed: Rather than feeling protective of those who inhabit her lands and rooting for their unified success, she wants them to bow down before her taloned feet!

Something changes, however, when her frosty fiefdom is visited by a conqueror (whether he brought thermal underwear doesn’t seem to be included in the public record.) Challengers to Iclyn’s absolute rule are rare, and this one taunts her outright:  He exclaims that it’s hardly impressive to be the mistress of a single, measly planet!

Does she even deserve the title of goddess amongst her bundled-up worshippers?

With the Frost Tyrant’s ego being as big as all the rest of her, there wasn’t a snowball’s chance in Hell she’d refuse the offer to prove herself in the Athelan Battlegrounds. She’d show this wannabe conqueror and any others like him why it was a very bad idea to mess with her!

Soon, it wouldn’t just be Valkrith feeling the chill; it’d be the totality of the universe!

(PS: yes, we realize the universe is technically already extremely cold. Let an indie game take a little artistic license, would ya? 😉🩵)
